The Year in Review a.k.a Karen Likes Infographics!

A director of libraries in my district used to post an infographic to her Twitter page at the end of the grading period regarding all the things that happened in her library from class visits to special projects to number of books checked out to upcoming events.
Five years ago, I did this because I love playing in Canva. That said, I didn't understand the why behind that one. It felt like unnecessary bragging. My boss was the grand-master decision maker; she knows what I do and she knows what she wants me to do.
Five years, two campuses, two principals, ten assistant principals, and a few interesting experiences regarding what I do/ what my boss says she wants me to do/ what my boss needs me to do/ what my boss really wants me to do (that doesn't gets articulated)/ what gets communicated to the higher ups regarding what I do, etc., I have decided that infographics posted on social media might be important. Here's the one I used to end first quarter:

I posted that to Twitter back in November, I believe. Although it's important information, I also felt like I needed to do something more reflective:

This one felt a little cheerlearder-y and that's okay. However, I also wanted to be transparent about growth because the world is also not all floral walls and book fairs. So I did this one:

All in all, I'm proud of my fall semester work. And in three different infographics I still didn't share everything:
