Resetting

Good evening!
It's been a second. I needed a reset.
What I've been doing professionally.
Since I posted last, I've checked out a bunch of books. Hosted several meetings. Completed parts one and two of the audit, part of my "other duties as assigned". Launched a book donation program. Received five hundred bucks in books from the PTO. Started writing a presentation about AI, which is really a presentation about plagiarism; we'll see who notices. And I closed out things before Thanksgiving break, hosting Friendsgiving in the library.
What I've been up to personally.
After I returned from Houston Friday, still amazingly full from Thanksgiving, I started Christmas decorating. Sunday, after finally getting the lights close-to-right on the tree, I crashed and burned, tripping over a box of ornaments, consequently bruising my foot. So I'm on desk duty, at least for another day or two.

Timing on this wasn't bad because Junior Achievement is using the library and I had to manipulate the schedule anyway, to clear it Monday and Tuesday and slam everyone in there Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Lawd. I'd blame the cat except it's totally not on her.
What happens this week.
Like I said, we've got Junior Achievement Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday I have principal's meetings with the elementary kids. Within all that, we'll do an exchange of books post-break.
Friday I am setting up for book fair which starts next week.
Meanwhile I'm resetting the food. Today is pita and chicken with tomato cucumber salad. I made falafels in the air fryer using this recipe.
That's it. Minus the marginally swollen foot, things are pretty good.
