What's the Tea?

We've been back at work four days. Four. Whole. Days. That's it. And this is the main topic of conversation:

Fifty-five percent and counting!

I have a bunch of feelings on this. Most of them involve being hesitant about finding joy in a potential snow day that follows a three-day weekend because in theory we might lose one of those built-in spring weather days. And I'm pretty confident that my motivation for anything work related will be limited by April.

Nevertheless, I won't cry on Tuesday morning if I get to hang out with Violet as I enjoy my second cup of coffee! It's the little things.

More on this Peleton thing

So the Peleton is in my spare room. This is also the room where Violet spent her formative weeks until I could take a breath and properly prepare things for a seven-week-old gremlin.

My feline roommate was a little offended when I moved her dishes into the kitchen. This surprised me. Also, she was scared of the Peleton for three days. She's now at peace with it, although I do feel a little guilty putting a one hundred forty-pound stationary bicycle in "her" room. That said, she's a cat and mostly doesn't care.

Trespasser!

Otherwise, I've used it nine days straight for a total of five hours and forty-six minutes. It's good. My backside hurts. I'm now one of those people who wakes up and works out. It's beautiful.

The Food Thing

I want my kitchen clean. I also want lunches handled that don't involve me figuring out a time to swing through the Chick fil A line. So, for now, I'm doing meal service via Factor.

Expense-Wise: I'm for sure spending more, but not as much more as you would think because my grocery bill dropped about thirty bucks. And it's about three dollars less my meal preference at the CFA. At the end of the day, if you average what I spend when I meal prep, with what I spend when life gets too busy to meal prep, I'm not much away from exactly the same thing.

Nutrition- Wise: I can get what I feel like I need/ want easily.

Taste: Pretty darn good and I didn't have to do much, other than remembering to complete the form a week prior.

The Tunes Thing

# 20: Kid A Radiohead: In 2000, Kid A had been described as the most anticipated release since Nirvana's In Utero. Upon release it got mediocre reviews. Twenty-four years later, it's number twenty on a greatest albums of all time list. Go figure.

# 29: Blood on the Tracks Bob Dylan: He's not my favorite. I know, I'm a bad American. Nevertheless, I leaned in. You should too. Although he's not my favorite, he's still profound.

Have a great weekend.
